Food and Catering

Our students experience what life working in a fully-operational kitchen is like in our restaurant. Serving lunches and dinners, with up to 35 covers for gourmet dinners, everything is cooked fresh on-site in our restaurant.

Whether students plan to work either as a chef or in food and beverage service, Lycée Jean de la Taille offers full time courses at EQF levels 3 (CAP Cuisine) and 4 (Baccalauréat Professionnel Cuisine, or Commercialisation et Services en Restaurant).

Our learners benefit from state-of-the-art equipment, the tutelage of experienced and knowledgeable staff, and strong links with the industry – all of which ensures that they are fully-prepared to start a career in a food and hospitality environment upon leaving school.


All of our learners undertake work placements as part of their course : up to 14 weeks over two years, at EQF Level 3, up to 22-weeks over three years, at EQF Level 4, and up to 10 weeks over 2 years, at EQF Level 5.
